Who are we?

We have been supplying bespoke textiles to luxury interior markets worldwide since the early 1960’s. We currently work with over 60 interior design brands, across the UK, USA and Europe.

Our made-to-order fabrics and products are designed in London and crafted in our factories in India. 

Quality, social and ethical standards are all very important areas across our business. We meet international standards across all three.

History of Parry Murray

    1800

    FOUNDED

    Parry Murray is founded in India by Thomas Parry as a manufacturing and trading house. They set the tone for everything we do.

  • PM-John-Robert-Murray-Timline

    1937

    REGISTERED IN LONDON

    John Robert Murray joined the group as a partner, and Parry Murray registered in London.

  • Distributing from Kerala

    1960

    DISTRIBUTING FROM KERALA

    In 1960 the firm began distributing hand woven fabrics for furnishings produced in Kerala, India. In doing so, Parry Murray became one of the first companies to sell such fabrics to the West. This soon became the company’s speciality and its long-standing heritage in the industry has helped it to become a leader in the field.

    TODAY

    Operating out of a London HQ, a dedicated design, marketing and customer services team works to provide the highest quality textiles to customers across the globe. We proudly work under our Indian Group Company, The Murugappa Group, in Chennai, India.
